The Story behind the Circle of Love:
My Grandma is my inspiration behind The Circle of Love. I have often looked at her hands over the years. One of my best childhood memories is her hand gently patting my knee as I sat next to her. The hands I see now look quite different then they did then. They are now etched with the simple, yet extraordinary story of her life. They tell of picking strawberries for 5 cents a basket, and being the first in a family to hold a high school diploma. They show the hard-work and courage it took to raise two children alone, widowed far too young. They wear the love required to make treasured Christmas ornaments and wedding afghans for every grandchild. They have held over 60 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. And so, that is the circle of life for Grandma and for each of us.........................
