A family is the soil, where sisterhood is laid.
Years of building trust and love, a friendship we have made.
As young girls we shared our secrets, giggled late into the night.
Bickered over clothes to wear, slammed doors when we would fight.
As women we still share secrets, and it's you I choose to call. When I need an ear to hear, or a shoulder to beak my fall.
No one else can understand, the lives that we have had.
